Episode 7 - True Actions

We have been talking in the last few videos about worshiping God in spirit and truth. In our last video we talked about a true heart. Today I am going to talk about true actions.
If we are going to worship God in truth then I believe our actions need to align with God's word and the Spirit's guidance. It is simply a lie to sing about loving God when we make little effort to follow His commands.
1 John 5:3 says, “For this is what love for God is: to keep His commands.”
I am not talking about perfection here. I am talking about seeking to follow God's moral commands and allowing the Spirit to gradually change us more and more into the image of Christ. If you are actively rebelling against God's Word or the Spirit's call on your life, then you are not worshiping in truth.
True worship requires an obedient heart. God is waiting to forgive. The Spirit is willing to guide. Are you willing to change?
