New Testament Survey

BibleThe New Testament is the foundation of our Christian faith.  In it we find the four Gospels and the writings of the apostles.  Do you desire to better understand the themes and purpose of the New Testament books? Would you like to take a deeper look at the primary authors and historical settings of each book? Are you interested in understanding the differences between the four Gospels? New Testament Survey is developed specifically to guide you to a fuller understanding of the books of the the New Testament and their impact on our Christian faith.

BIL-110 New Testament Survey is a survey of the literature and interpretation of the New Testament. Attention will be given to the central themes, authorship, date, setting, theme, purpose, structure and general content of each book. The life of Christ, history of the church and impact of the Apostle Paul will also be highlighted.

This course is a requirement for all programs of study.  It is three credits and will include three hours of class time per week plus homework.  Programs of study that include this course are:
