Worship Moments, Episode 44 – Joining with the Angels

You never worship alone! Last week I pointed out that endless worship is happening around the globe as Christians worship God. In Hebrews 12:22, we see a different description of New Testament worship. We read, “you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God (the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels in festive gathering”.

Did you catch that? When you come to worship, not only are you joining your worship with that of other Christians around the world, but you are also joining in with a celebration in heaven that includes “myriads” of angels. Some translations say “innumerable” angels.

Every time you worship, you are joining in a heavenly celebration of God. You have probably read or heard about the Seraphim endlessly repeating “Holy, Holy, Holy”. And God's holiness is certainly a key attribute of God. But did you know that there is also a joyous celebration happening? And you can join in!

It is going on right now. Why not join in, right now, with the believers world-wide and the angels in heaven and worship God?
