What’s Next?

Looking Ahead

"What's next?" or more accurately, "What does God want us to do next?" is a question we all should ask on a regular basis. It is too easy to just keep doing the same thing without taking time to ask God for direction and evaluating our lives.

The Worship Arts Conservatory board met on June 10 to develop a strategic plan for the 2018-2019 fiscal year. After prayer and discussion we settled on 5 priorities. These priorities will guide our decision making over the next year.

Internships

Connecting students and churches for practical application of learning.

Enrollment

Increasing our enrollment so that we can become more effective and prepare for accreditation.

Finances

Increasing our financial base so that we can have a greater impact.

Volunteers

Increasing our volunteer involvement so that we can accomplish more of our goals.

Location

Finding a location that can serve as our campus for accreditation.

Enrollment and Finances are somewhat obvious priorities for a college, but the other three have not been our focus recently. In fact, internship is a brand new focus and it is our top priority.

Over the next few weeks I will be going into more detail on each of these priorities to help you get a glimpse of what we feel is next and how we hope to get there.

Your Part

What does this have to do with you? I'm glad you asked.

First of all, we need your prayers. I have always felt that this task was too big for any of us to accomplish. We need God's blessing, provision and guidance. Please pray that God would help us know how to accomplish these priorities and know when to readjust our plan.

Second, you may find that you can be a part of the solution to one of our priorities. So, stay tuned and keep praying!
