Things have been moving at a very fast pace the last few weeks as we finished up our Winter Term and prepared for Summer.
Summer Term
In spite of the fact that it was nearly freezing when I got up this morning, our Summer Term begins today. It is not too late, though, to sign up for a course. Here are three courses that could easily add a couple last minute students:
- Drawing I
- Instrumental Ensemble
- Guitar Class

Concerts
Our Instrumental Ensemble played its Spring concert on Sunday, May 7. The music was a mixture of classical favorites, traditional hymns and contemporary worship. If you missed the concert, we will be doing it again on May 21, 6 pm at Bethany Baptist Church, 19700 15 Mile Rd, Clinton Charter Twp.
Partnerships
We are still working on developing new partnerships both with Colleges and Christian Schools. Our college partnerships allow us to offer degree paths for our students. Our Christian School partnerships are a way for us to both minister to high school students and let them know about the great savings available to them if they start their college studies with WAC.
Prayer Requests
- Classes – Pray for the start of our Summer Term.
- Student Recruitment – Pray that we are able to attract full time students to our new Music and Ministry degree paths and that our new online advertising will be effective.
- Articulation Agreements – Pray that we are able to continue to develop partnerships with other colleges. We have a couple more colleges discussing the possibility.
- Finances – Please continue to pray for our finances.
