Our primary focus right now is fundraising and advertising. We have all the pieces together to start classes except a large enough student enrollment. What we need to do is expand awareness in the Detroit community so we can attract enough students to allow us to open for courses this Winter.
To accomplish this we would like to do a professional advertising campaign. But advertising is expensive so first we need to do a fundraiser. Our last crowdfunding fundraiser was over a year ago through Indiegogo. We are planning on starting another similar fundraiser in a week or two.
The goal would be to raise enough funds to do a professional advertising campaign through WMUZ leading up to our Winter term. More details to coming soon.
