Currently the Worship Arts Conservatory is in the midst of a fundraiser. You can find the fundraising page here. Our funding is going slowly at this point. Please pray that more people join in the project.
Since my last WAC Update we have had board officer elections and our current officers are (drum roll please):
- President and Chair: Jerry Wyrick
- Vice Chair: Roland Day
- Treasurer: Dale Ihrie
- Secretary: Susan Sherer
It was my hope to have the IRS 1023 form completed by this time, but we needed to amend our Articles to include some essential IRS language before submitting the form, so the articles have been amended and we are waiting for them to be posted by the state.
Why is the 1023 form so important? Because when it is accepted we will be officially tax exempt by the IRS meaning that all donations, retroactive to the date of incorporation, are tax deductible.
