WAC Update 16

The last couple of weeks have been primarily taken up with faculty applications.  We are currently in discussion with various instructors and hope to be able to add a few more names to our faculty list in the near future.  If you know of anyone who would be a good candidate for Worship Dance or Worship Technology (sound, lighting, video), please encourage them to visit our employment page.  These two areas seem to be the hardest for which to find instructors.

The IRS sent us a new status update to say that we were being assigned to a specialist, which is the first step in the process after they receive the application for tax exempt status.  This is good news in that we have moved from waiting in the “received” pile to waiting in the “to be assigned” pile which is significantly better than being rejected.  The bad news is that this is another waiting pile that currently is taking about 3 months.  Sigh…  The joys of government bureaucracy.

Please continue to pray for us to find the right facility.  We still have not found the right place at the right price.  Pray that God would lead us to the right location and supernaturally touch hearts so that we can have a rental agreement that will be affordable.
