The Worship Arts Conservatory is a proposed higher educational institution located in Detroit dedicated to the training of Christian workers, skilled in worship. Our goal is to train workers in all areas necessary for an effective worship service.
Last Monday the board met and discussed our four top priorities at this time:
- Facilities – We have a location we are considering. Please pray that the negotiations will go well or God will lead us to a better location.
- Faculty – We are still looking for faculty for next fall. See our employment page for more details.
- Student Recruitment – We have not started this yet, but will begin to develop this more in the next few months.
- Finances – One of the biggest barriers we have right now is the fact that the IRS has not yet responded to our request for Tax Exempt status. It is not uncommon for this to take 3-6 months. We filed in August, so we may still have some waiting to do. Please pray that we get our tax exempt status soon, so we can pursue larger donations.
