WAC – How Can You Teach Theology If You Are Non-Denominational?

Although WAC is non-denominational we do have a Statement of Faith that we will be teaching in our Bible and theology courses.  Our Statement of Faith is intentionally inclusive of most denominational traditions within the evangelical community.  Our Statement of Doctrinal Neutrality explains how we handle doctrinal differences within the broad umbrella of evangelical churches.

Statement of Doctrinal Neutrality

The Worship Arts Conservatory welcomes all people who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and who take seriously the claims of the inerrant Word of God. We have written our Statement of Faith to be inclusive of many doctrinal and denominational traditions. The Worship Arts Conservatory does not take sides on certain doctrinal matters that often separate groups of believers. Our students are encouraged to be engaged in robust, informal discussions on these matters, but the Conservatory itself is neutral on the doctrinal distinctives which go beyond the points covered in our Statement of Faith and are outside the mission of the Conservatory.  We want all students and faculty from this wide community to feel welcomed and encouraged.  We particularly want parents to have the assurance that WAC will not seek to undermine the traditions of their family’s faith.
