Worship Arts Conservatory Summer classes start next week.  The courses are only 12 weeks long and, because they are online, flexible enough to fit into your summer schedule. The cost is only $50 per credit so you can easily afford to take a class.

Here is a list of our Summer Courses:

Design I

An introduction to the abstract elements of line, texture, shape, space, color, values and patterns. Employ basic media techniques and tools with emphasis on craftsmanship.

Digital Imagery

An introduction to photography. Provides foundational instruction in digital based photographic imagery. Learn to plan and produce digital images that demonstrate an understanding of composition, light, color and visual impact.

Old Testament Survey

A survey of the literature and interpretation of the Old Testament. Attention will be given to the central themes, and the authorship, date, setting, theme, purpose, structure and general content of each book.

Bible Study Methods

Study the basic principles and methods of Bible study. Procedures are learned for the careful observation, analysis and interpretation of the text.

Dance Composition I

An introduction to the fundamental elements and principles of the art and craft of dance composition. Students will learn to design both solo and group choreography.

Elements of Music

An introduction to the fundamentals of music: major and minor scales, key signatures, triads, and simple tonal harmony.

Instrumental Ensemble

Small instrumental ensemble(s) based upon available players. An opportunity to explore ensemble repertoire for specific groups of instruments. An audition is required.

Theology of Worship

A study of the biblical, historical, practical and theological foundations of Christian worship. Students will develop a philosophy of worship based upon the tradition of the church yet relevant to today’s culture.
