Meet John Martineau – Worship Leader for February 28 Concert

John Martineau

John Martineau will be the worship leader for the Worship Arts February 28 Faculty and Friends Concert, Hymns. Ancient and Modern. John will be serving with a team of musicians from Woodlawn Church and Crosspointe Church to lead the contemporary worship songs.

John H. Martineau currently serves as the worship pastor of Woodlawn Church in Royal Oak Michigan, and has served fulltime at Woodlawn since August of 1995.  He also serves as part of the Faculty pool and advisors for Worship Arts Conservatory. Pastor John is originally from Mississippi where he earned an A.A., and graduated in 1992 with Bachelor of Arts in Church Music from the University of Southern Mississippi. During his undergraduate years, John served in several churches leading worship, directing youth choir, marching band percussionist, directing and playing in handbell choirs, & a concert percussionist.  John moved to Oklahoma in 1993 and graduated with honors in 1995 earning a Master of Arts in Church Music from Oral Roberts University where he met his wife Stacy.
