Rev. Terry Robinson is a native of Arcadia, La.  He accepted Christ at an early age under the ministry of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church.  Rev. Robinson grew up in the rolling hills of North Louisiana where he attended Arcadia High School.  After graduation he went on to Louisiana Tech University.  He graduated with a B.A. in Secondary Education (Social Studies) and a minor in Science.

It was during his first year in college that he dedicated his life to Jesus Christ through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ.  He became very active in this ministry of evangelism and discipleship on campus.  In his junior year of college he met Janice Wood, a Pharmacy student at the University of Michigan.  Three years later they would become husband and wife.

Upon graduation from college Terry & Janice was accepted to the full time staff of Campus Crusade for Christ.  For the last thirty years they have served college students and lay people through this ministry.  Their first three years was at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Ks. He and his wife traveled abroad in the summer of 1988 to South Africa.  They participated in a summer mission outreach on the university campuses and in the black homelands of South Africa. In the summer of 2002 he traveled to Zambia for “Operation Sonrise” a strategic outreach to countries in East and Southern Africa.

Rev. Robinson holds a graduate certificate in Biblical Studies from the International School of Theology and a Masters of Divinity degree  from Moody Theological Seminary.  He also serves on the advisory board of for Moody Theological Seminary – Michigan.

Rev. Robinson was licensed and ordained to the Gospel ministry under the pastorate of  the late Dr. Frederick G. Sampson in Detroit.   He  has served in a Passionate Partnership with the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church and Campus Crusade for Christ. In this capacity he serves as the Minister of Discipleship. He is also the City Director for Here’s Life Inner City in Detroit; a ministry of Campus of Crusade for Christ that partners with inner city churches and organizations who minister to the poor and needy in their neighborhoods.  Recently, Rev. Robinson served as co-director of the Urban Task Force for the E.A.C.H. campaign in Detroit. This evangelistic campaign reached out to the 3.5 million people in Metro Detroit with good deeds and the good news of the gospel.

He and his wife are the proud parents of three children.  James (29), Jason (25) and Jessica (22) and three grandchildren (Chris, Caleb, & Cherish).
