Comprehensive Worship Training

Three Key Qualities

At Worship Arts Conservatory our goal is comprehensive worship training. We desire to develop mature Christian adults (character) who are trained (concepts) and skilled (competence) in their area of discipline. As a result, you will be prepared to effectively represent the name of Christ both in the community and the church.

Developing in all three of these areas is essential to being a well-rounded and prepared worship leader.

Character

Character begins with an understanding that our relationship with God is central to all else we do.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).

We desire and endeavor to guide you to have a personal, life changing relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. Your relationship with God is the source from which all of your worship leading should flow.

It is impossible to truly lead people into worship if you are not a daily worshiper yourself.

Here are some of the courses we offer to help you build your character:

  • Spiritual Foundations
  • Worship Theology
  • Theology
  • Old Testament Survey
  • New Testament Survey
  • Bible Study Methods

Concepts

Comprehensive worship training adds to character the necessary concepts, or knowledge, needed to succeed as a worship leader. This is what most people think of when they consider education. Worship Arts Conservatory's worship programs are designed to help you gain the knowledge you need to succeed.

Here are some of the courses you will take in our Worship Leadership Diploma Program of study:

  • Music Theory

Competence

Competence is the last piece of comprehensive worship training. Knowledge and character are not enough if you haven't developed your skills to a high enough level to lead others. It is essential for you to gain experience using your skills in real world situations so that your skills moves from theory to reality.

Some courses that will help you develop your skills include:

  • Guitar Class
  • Piano Class
  • Voice Class
  • Private Lessons
  • Ensembles
