Comprehensive Ministry Training

Three Key Qualities

At Worship Arts Conservatory our goal for our ministry students is comprehensive ministry training. We desire to develop mature Christian adults (character) who are trained (concepts) and skilled (competence) in ministry. As a result, you will be prepared to effectively represent the name of Christ both in the community and the church.

Developing in all three of these areas is essential to being a well-rounded and prepared church leader.

Character

Character begins with an understanding that our relationship with God is central to all else we do.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).

We desire and endeavor to guide you to have a personal, life changing relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. Your relationship with God is the source from which all of your ministry should flow.

It is impossible to truly lead people to know and follow a God that you do not know yourself.

We believe that knowing God goes beyond knowing about God and includes developing a daily relationship with Him that leads you to trust and follow Him.

Here are some of the courses we offer to help you build your character:

  • Spiritual Foundations
  • Worship Theology
  • Theology I and II
  • Old Testament Survey
  • New Testament Survey

Concepts

Comprehensive ministry training adds to character the necessary concepts, or knowledge, needed to succeed as a church leader. This is what most people think of when they consider education. Worship Arts Conservatory's christian ministry programs are designed to help you gain the knowledge you need to succeed.

Here are some of the courses you will take in our Christian Ministries Diploma Program of study:

Competence

Competence is the last piece of comprehensive ministry training. Knowledge and character are not enough if you haven't developed your skills to a high enough level to lead others. It is essential for you to gain experience using your skills in real world situations so that your skills moves from theory to reality.

Some courses that will help you develop your skills include:

  • Art of Preaching
  • Church Discipleship
  • Evangelism and Missions
