You never worship alone! In the last few videos I have reminded you that when you worship, you are joining with all Christians world-wide, the saints who are already in heaven and even the angels.
But I want to take it even one step further. Zephaniah 3:17 says,
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save.
He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love;
He will exult over you with loud singing.
Whoa! Wait! Did you catch that last phrase? Our God is a singing God!
We worship a God that delights in those who love Him. He is not a distant God, indifferently listening to your worship. He is not a egomaniac who needs your praise to keep His ego inflated. NO!
He is rejoicing in your love and lavishing His love upon you with loud singing!
Imagine it – really, stop and try to picture it in your mind! While we sing praises to God, He joins in and sings His love to us!
WOW! If you are a believer and seeking to follow God, then He is joyfully singing over you! Are you listening? Sing a song of worship to God right now and realize, as you do, that God is sing His love over you!
