Worship Moments, Episode 48 - God Is Peace

God is Peace. In the last video we contemplated God's love. In this video we will contemplate His peace. Worship is recognizing and responding to the presence of God.
One of the aspects of God that we all need to recognize is peace. When we are one with God we are at peace. There is no other place where we can find true peace except in the presence of God.
The world has nothing to offer that can bring lasting peace to our lives. In fact the further we run from God the less peace we will have. Only when we come before God in humble submission, confession and trust can we find lasting peace.
I have talked a lot in these videos about praise and singing and celebration, but our hearts also crave peace. True worship should lead us and those who join us to find peace in our loving and all-powerful God.
There is a lot of pain in this world. And some of it will not go away until we reach heaven. Even Jesus wept. But there is a peace in knowing that a loving God is working good through all of this and we can trust Him and His plan.
Take a moment to let go of all your concerns and cares and place them into God's hands. He loves you. He weeps with you and He wants you to find peace by trusting Him. Will you do it?
