This week the Worship Arts Conservatory completed these projects:
- Posted biographies of the board members. Check out our wonderful leadership here. Would you like to join our board? If so, please contact me. We would love to add a few more people to our board.
- Updated our proposed programs of study. Current accreditation requirements include 44 credits of general education for a bachelor’s degree. We needed to adjust our courses for each degree to accommodate this requirement. Our program listings are still tentative, but becoming more solid each week. Finalizing the course offerings is necessary for receiving licensing from the state.
- Continued to clarify our facility needs. Please pray for this part of the project as it is a significant barrier to moving forward. Without a facility we cannot be licensed or advertise effectively. To achieve our goal we need a significant amount of space, including a band and choir room, classrooms, offices, library, technology labs, etc. We would also like this facility to be near or in midtown Detroit. If you can help with finding or acquiring facilities, please contact me.
