Do you sometimes worry that evil men will flourish? Do you ever feel like there is no reward for righteous behavior? Psalm 37 addresses this fear and reminds us that the wicked will vanish and the righteous will be rewarded.

Acrostic Psalms are a type of psalm that uses the Hebrew alphabet to structure the psalm. In a perfect acrostic poem each successive line, verse or section begins with the successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet. For instance, the first line starts with Alef and the second line with Bet, etc.
The structure is used somewhat freely in many of the psalms. The psalm may not include every letter of the alphabet or may even skip a letter. Psalm 119 is probably the most famous Acrostic Psalm. Psalm 119 uses each letter of the alphabet for 8 verses in a row before moving on to the next letter.

Deliverance is the theme of Psalm 34. David is so convinced that God will deliver the righteous that he challenges you to Taste and see that the Lord is good Psalm 34:8
