Clinton Burke is a native Detroiter, growing up on the west side of the city. Clint learned about Worship Arts Conservatory (WAC) via Warren Community Church in Warren, MI. After much prayer and already a musician (he plays guitar), Clint felt compelled to enroll at WAC. Clint is currently a student in the WAC Worship Leadership Program.
Clint likes what he is learning and finds the program challenging and interesting
Clint enrolled at WAC to get a better understanding of music theory and to become a better musician. He has attended WAC for a little over one year. Clint began as a student apprentice in Summer 2020. As a student apprentice, Clint likes what he is learning and finds the program challenging and interesting. He especially enjoys learning how to use Planning Center to select songs for worship; there is a specific procedure for entering new songs and making chord charts for the musicians. Clint is also learning the process of how to schedule musicians for each service.
Clint feels that the program at WAC is very valuable
Clint feels that the program at WAC is very valuable. He likes that what he is learning is extremely practical and can be applied immediately. At the present time, Clint has not decided what he will do after completing his apprenticeship and academic program at WAC, but he is open to serve the Lord wherever he is led.
In his spare time, Clint enjoys playing and listening to music, watching sports (hockey and football), and reading when the opportunity permits.
Clint, We’re so glad you found the WAC! You are receiving great instruction and LOTS of hands-on training. We know God will use the training you receive at WAC to prepare you for whatever God has for you to do next! We will continue to pray for you as you learn all God has for you!–Robin
