Enjoy playing your instrument once again. Are you looking for a place where you can play your instrument with other Christians and use it to glorify God? Then look no further! Maybe you played an instrument in band and wish you could play it again. Or, maybe you played in church in the past but they don't use traditional band instruments anymore. Our instrumental ensemble is designed to help you once again enjoy playing your instrument for the glory of God.

MUS-251 Instrumental Ensemble
Learn wind ensemble literature. Represent Worship Arts Conservatory by performing at various venues. Audition may be required.
Every Other Sunday, 3-5 pm

I signed up for MUS-251: Instrumental Ensemble this summer, and can not say enough about the experience. What an honor and blessing to perform with such talented musicians on a rich blend of full orchestral and contemporary worship pieces from the 1600's to the 2000's. Will definitely sign up again! In addition to leading the Worship Arts Conservatory, I am an ordained minister in the North American Baptist and have been a worship leader for almost 30 years.
Cost
$55 is the recommended tuition to help cover administrative costs and music. But we do allow you to audit this course for free if you cannot afford the tuition! You can't beat that price!

Is there a lot of homework?
Only practicing the music for the performances.
How good do I have to be?
The music is typically at college level. It should be playable (with practice) by anyone who was a good player in high school.
What if I don't own an instrument? Will you provide one?
We don't usually provide instruments, but if you are interested in playing we will certainly see if we can help you find one.
What if I haven't played in a while?
We would love to have you join us to rebuild your "chops."
