Jerry Wyrick – President
Jerry Wyrick graduated from Cornerstone University with a BM in Music Composition and Michigan State University with a MM and Ph.D. in Music Composition. He has been a Worship Director for over 25 years. He was the founder of Christian Ministries Institute. While in Lansing he started and directed the Lansing Evangelical Choir. He is currently ministering as the President of the Worship Arts Conservatory and Worship Director at Lakeside Church in St. Clair Shores, MI. Jerry is ordained as a minister in the North American Baptist Conference.
Jerry has performed on trumpet in many ensembles including: Royal Brass, Blue Lake Staff Brass Quintet, Michigan State University Symphony, Battle Creek Symphony and the Macomb Symphony. His secondary instruments include guitar and piano.
Ken Render
Ken received his Master of Divinity degree and Doctor of Ministry degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has pastored churches in Kentucky and in Michigan. He is the Lead Pastor at Lakeside Community Church in St. Clair Shores, Michigan for the past twenty-five years. Lakeside has been a leader in the Baptist State Convention of Michigan for a number of years. He has been married to his wife Laura for Thrity-two years and has three grown children and three grandchildren. Through Ken’s leadership Lakeside has started nine churches during his tenure. He is a former college football player and now currently does Ironman Triathlons.
Kurt Schneider
Kurt Schneider lives in West Bloomfield, Michigan with his wife Betsy, daughter Sophia, son Jack and two Weimaraner’s Crosby and Ivy. We are a house divided in that Dad is a Michigan Wolverine and Jack and Sophia are Michigan State Spartans. Of course, I still love them, but Go Blue! Kurt is an Advertising/Media executive for a global agency network and counts among the client’s he’s been proud to serve, Ford Motor Company, Volkswagen and Nationwide Insurance. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Political Science and holds a M.A. in Advertising at Michigan State and a M.S.M. in Management from Walsh College (yes, I’m aware I have a Spartan degree). Kurt has been active in his church and community, in particular, the Boy Scouts of America and is proud father of an Eagle Scout.
Marlon Jones
The Reverend Marlon Everett Jones serves as the Pastor of Franklin Street Baptist Church, in Mobile, Alabama. Since his arrival in 2012, Jones is leading the church through a transition of becoming a cutting edge 21st century ministry through dynamic leadership, spiritual teaching, and biblical preaching. This is evident as the church celebrates time honored traditions while employing new ministry methods and technology.Prior to ministry at Franklin Street, Reverend Jones served as the Pastor of Worship for the Macedonia Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also served as a full-time staff minister for the Union Baptist Church, in Durham, North Carolina. During this time, Jones was responsible for the 4,500 member church’s music, media, and technology ministries. Under Jones’ leadership, the music ministry at Union grew from nearly 75 people to more than 250. He was responsible for a staff of 22 paid musicians and 30 media volunteers.He is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. He has begun worked towards a Master of Divinity degree from the historic Shaw University; and has studied at Alabama A&M University and the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary.Reverend Jones is married to Attorney Keava Boswell and they have two sons, Elias and Everett.
Matthew Aulds
Matthew Aulds is a native Texan, United States Marine, and an active member of Revolution Church located in Selma Texas. At Revolution Church he is a member of the Safety Ministry and the Director of the Parking team. Matthew and his wife Kimberly have been active members of Revolution for 13 years. Matthew was ordained as a Deacon with Baptist Temple in 1998.He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of San Antonio and his Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Matthew is currently an Associate Vice President with Wipro, LLC and is responsible for leading a large remote contact center in the United States.Matthew and his wife Kimberly have been married for 33 years, have two grown children and two grandchildren
